“A dream come true!I cannot commend Amalinda and their wonderful, friendly staff enough. From the truly stunning architecture built in to the boulders, the fauna and stunning views. I genuinely had a lump in my throat as we were helped to our accomodation, it was spectacular, including a chain bridge to a separate balcony area. Everything was handled brilliantly by the staff in terms of your room. Food was fantastic and had a real communal vibe, with staff and holidayers socialising by the fire in the evening. What was an amazing touch was having your guide sit with you for meals, it was really lovely to know them better and learn of their fascinating amount of knowledge. Onto the guides, they really are the best in the world in Zimbabwe. Not only are they your incredibly educated guide for the bush but also your waiter, helper, protector and friend all in one. Our guide "Brightwell'." Truly is an amazing person and felt blessed to meet him, let alone be guided around the amazing places of Matopos. Honestly cannot recommend Amalinda enough for any possible reason you can think of. They really made us feel special and made our dream holiday come true.”

“ The best lodge we’ve ever been to, and that’s saying something! Khulu lodge, I find it hard to even put into words the experience let alone the welcoming and hospitality. A remarkable place full of attention to detail. The friendliest people and so accommodating. We we’re truly spoilt with the ambiance and game. The food was delicious and the tented rooms were so comfortable, loved the outside shower! I could have easily spent the whole time here, we were sad to leave as nothing could top it! “

“An amazing bush experience at Ivory Lodge. Authentically built accommodation and great hosts make it worthwhile. A real gem hidden in the bush. You will be beyond surprised when you arrive at Ivory Lodge. From the amazing thatch lounge that looks onto the watering hole to the friendly staff that give it its homely feel. My room overlooked elephant and buck at the watering hole on arrival. A short walk to the viewing deck took me the closest I have ever been to an elephant. Bring a camera as game is abundant. Sipping G&T’s with Khulu and the team a real highlight.Highly recommend. “

“ Wonderful stay and unforgetable experience. We were a family group of 7. We stayed at Sable Valley Lodge for three days. The staff was dedicated and attentive, responding to all requests with delicacy. On Saturday we had a Boma dinner at the lodge grounds, which was a pleasant and tasty surprise. Meals were shared with an excellent view of a small lake where several animals came to drink water. Dinners were accompanied by a large group of elephants. A special thanks to Billie “Sables” for the welcome and support during our stay. The rooms/houses were welcoming, with all amenities, mosquito nets and repellents. The meals were varied and well prepared. I want to highlight the energy, good disposition, and dedication of our guide James, on safaris. His persistence led us to see lions, giraffes, a cheetah, wild dogs, and many other animals. His knowledge about the different animals, plants and birds made our walks even more interesting. His passion was contagious and his concern for the preservation and survival of the park's animals was noticeable. I highly recommend him to anyone planning a visit and stay at Sable Valley Lodge. “
